He was born in Paris, France, in January 1908. In 1934, she joined Django Reinhardt's "French Hot Club Quintet" as a violinist and gained much attention. His elegant and supple swinging performances were accepted by fans worldwide, and became a model for later jazz violins. He left many excellent performances in combination with his sworn guitarist Django Reinhardt and was active as a leading jazz violinist until he died in 1997.

He was born January 23, 1910, Jazz musician/guitarist from Liberty, Belgium. His real name is Jean-Baptiste Reinhardt. He is famous for creating "Gypsy Swing", a fusion of Roma (Gypsy) music and swing jazz. After travelling around Europe with his family since childhood, he settled in Paris and started his music career. In the latter half of their 20s, he suffered a burn on one side of his body in a fire and could not move his ring finger and little finger on his left hand. In the 1930s, he formed a group with Stephane Grappelli and won high acclaim. Since then, he has been active and has toured the United States after the war. Nearly 1,000 of his recordings exist, and he has influenced many musicians. He died on May 16, 1953. He died at the age of 43.
